Introduction
In 1999 a group of villagers gathered together to create a lasting record of Stoke Climsland village, its inhabitants, their homes, its events, its activities, and all the things that went to make up life in rural Cornwall at the turn of the millennium. We called the project SC2000. It had been intended to create a 'living' web book but at that time the software technology was not up to the task and instead a booklet was created. Now, some 25 years later, and with the creation of a website about the Stoke Climsland parish archive, this blog has been created to give access to the wealth of photographic material within the project. Almost everyone living in the parish at that time was photographed outside their house. As I write it is now 25 years since these photographs were taken.
